This alternative wedding was the perfect example of the magic can happen when the bride and groom have tons of creativity and imagination, paired with wonderful friends and family with helping hands. With the wedding ceremony taking place in the glorious Winchester Guildhall and a red double decker bus (yes a wedding double decker bus!) shipping everyone over to the reception venue at Soberton Village Hall.

"Katie was amazing from the first time we made contact with her. She was friendly, professional and really listened to the sort of photography we wanted. On the morning of our wedding day it was like having another friend with me, she was awesome at fitting in and quietly taking photos whilst we were all getting ready. During the day she was discreet and went above and beyond to capture our day so well! When we went to bed in the early hours after our wedding Katie had already sent me two pictures from the day. It was so special to receive them so quickly. I would recommend Katie to anyone. She is very talented and a pure delight. We can’t thank her enough"

I had never met Laura and Wil prior to their booking me, but we soon found that we had several mutual friends. I could tell from the start that they were exactly the type of couple I love to work with, extremely relaxed and very loved up.  Their day was the perfect blend of their passions both within life and for each other. With musical references dotted throughout the day, to Wil playing with his band in the evening. The day was what every wedding should be... a perfect representation of the two individuals as a couple.

To name a few of their amazing DIY feats, the flowers were crafted by the groom from sheet music, yup you read that right, he handmade every flower and bouquet with sheet music! The festoon lighting was placed across handmade wooden frames. The endless diy wedding games and decoration that filled the venue both inside and out. This was a DIY dream wedding.

My god it was also one fun to photograph, even I ended the night covered in glitter on the dance floor.
